THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
This writer once knew somebody suffering with cancer. The man continually denied the seriousness of his illness and was certain that he would live. Sadly, he died. Our minds, thoughts and intellectual faculties are amazing, but so limited. If a foolish person denied that the earth rotated on its axis, would it stop? Of course not! Whether terminal illness, or the movement of planets through the universe, we change nothing, we can only observe. Many deny the existience of God, others deny Jesus as Lord. Doesn’t make an ounce of difference. Our hostile thoughts towards God (or no God) does not change the reality that He exists… and we are accountable to Him.
Our Mission and Beliefs
Grace Baptist Church Grays is dedicated to worship, service and praise of the Lord Jesus Christ. Doctrinally we hold to what is known as the doctrines of grace and we believe in practising the grace of the doctrines. As a Reformed Baptist church, we hold steadfast to the teachings of the Bible, emphasizing the importance of sound teaching. You will not find any glamour or glitz at our church, what you will find is a beacon of gospel hope and a place where believers can grow spiritually and connect with others who share their Biblical values.
Our Services
Sunday Worship
Join us every Sunday at 10:30 AM and 5.30PM for a time of worship, prayer, and fellowship as we gather to glorify God and grow in faith. The 5.30PM service is helpful for first time visitors.
Bible Study Groups
NO BIBLE STUDY – RESUMES 9 SEPTEMBER When we resume, we’ll engage in deep, meaningful discussions and study of the Scriptures.
Children's Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry offers a nurturing environment where children can learn about God’s love through carefully prepared lessons and engaging activities. Sessions are held during Sunday morning services.
Ladies Fellowship
Our vibrant ladies fellowship meet on a monthly basis, usually on a Friday evening. Contact the church for further details.
Prayer Meetings
Join us for our weekly prayer meetings every Wednesday after our Bible Study. We also hold an online prayer meeting every Saturday morning, you will need to contact the church if you wish to join this meeting.
Community Outreach
We are committed to serving our community through various outreach programs. Get involved and make a difference in the lives of others.

I love the in-depth study of God’s Word. Pastor Bruce will always start the worship with the reading of a Psalm, and that’s great. We sing mostly traditional hymns with a few modern ones. The worship is lively but reverent. I’ve been coming here for many years, the people are warm and the fellowship after the service is special.
